What is cattle auto drafter?
The cattle auto drafter equipment is a weighing and grouping equipment designed specifically for beef cattle farms. It combines modern mechanical technology and automation technology to improve the efficiency of cattle weighing, reduce cattle stress reactions, and provide accurate data support for precision feeding.
Equipment composition
BM Cattlescale cattle auto drafter equipment usually consists of a teaming channel, a waiting platform, a weighing platform and a grouping channel.
Teaming channel: The teaming channel is a "W" shaped structure, with one end being the entrance of the herd and the other end connected to the waiting platform through an inclined plane. Each side of the "W" shaped structure has space for only one cow to ensure that the cows move in order in the channel.
Waiting platform: A pair of parallel fences are set on the waiting platform, and the upper ends of the fences are connected through a queuing envelope frame to form a first frame structure that envelops the body of the cow. The waiting platform is connected to the weighing platform through a transition platform.
Weighing platform: A pair of shrinking fences are set on the weighing platform, and the upper ends of the fences are connected through a weighing envelope frame to form a second frame structure that envelops the body of the cow. A weighing sensor is installed at the bottom of the weighing platform for real-time collection of cattle weight data.
Grouping channel: The outlet of the weighing platform is connected to the grouping channel. According to the weighing results, the cattle will be guided to different grouping channels.
Working Principle
After the cattle enter the formation channel, they move to the waiting platform in order.
On the waiting platform, the cattle will be temporarily stopped and wait to enter the weighing platform.
When the weighing platform is idle, the cattle will be guided to the weighing platform for weighing.
The weighing sensor collects the weight data of the cattle in real time and transmits it to the control system for processing.
According to the weighing results, the control system will control the door of the grouping channel to open and guide the cattle to the corresponding grouping channel.
